This is the first time I’ve ever painted flowers. My mom was a notorious flower painter, if you saw my childhood home you’d see flowers painted on furniture, baskets, cabinets, paintings etc. Nothing was safe in the house. I’ll never be as good at painting flowers as my mom, she was amazing at it… but I think this would be her second favourite piece I’ve ever done. :-)

The painting was given to my mother in law for Christmas. I could tell by her reaction, she loved it. Which meant the world to me.
