When we found out we were having a baby, one of the first thoughts I had after HOLY SHIT was I wanted to make something for our babies room. It was just that little thing that I could make for our new baby while my wife knits little baby clothes.

The sculpture is made of ‘Sculpey‘, a product that is basically like Femo or Plasterscene that you can bake and paint. It was fairly easy to work with but you really have to spend a lot of time smoothing out the bumps and fingerprints. It probably didn’t help that I used my fingers and paint brushes as my modelling tools.

After i finished modelling the toy I hand painted it with Acrylic paints. Now I just hope that the baby is a girl!

If not, it becomes a present for my wife.
